The only way to grow is to take every opportunity. Get started. Go anywhere.

We know that the best placements involve first-hand, hands-on experience from industry-leading colleagues from the very first step through to the last. That’s why, from your first day, you’ll feel empowered to make a difference – with the support and freedom to explore your options. Our experts will treat you as part of the team, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the chance to show what you can do.

Are you currently studying for your bachelor’s degree and want to find out where your skills could take your career? Become a placement student at BMW Group and you’ll be able to complement your studies with invaluable real-life work experience within truly world-renowned brands.

WHERE YOU COULD WORK.

The UK is the only place in the world where our three brands – BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars – are represented by both business and manufacturing operations. You could join us at any of our manufacturing sites in Oxford, Hams Hall, Swindon, or Goodwood, or you could be based at our Farnborough offices, where we host the UK Sales and Marketing subsidiary of BMW AG, as well as Financial Services, Leasing and Fleet Management departments.

We’re looking for driven students who can bring talent, fresh thinking and help us continue to thrive in one of the world’s most competitive industries.

OUR PROGRAMMES.

We offer placements for third year students who want to increase their knowledge of technology, business processes and corporate culture. As a placement student you’ll have the chance to develop valuable teamwork skills, build up a network of professional contacts and gain insights into the different job areas within BMW Group. Our placements run for 6 to 12 months and require students to be on track to achieve a 2:2 or higher degree.

For outstanding placement students who are serious about developing their career, we can also offer the Speed-Up programme, which is available at selected sites. As a successful candidate, you’ll have access to dedicated training and a mentor, you’ll receive attractive financial support, and you’ll have the opportunity to come back to the business when you complete your studies.

OUR JOB FIELDS.

You could work within a wide range of business areas, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance, amongst others.
