The only limit is the one you set yourself. Get started. Go anywhere.
At BMW Group, when we say ‘opportunity’, we don’t just mean a job. We mean a chance for you to explore what we have to offer.
Bring your ambition and curiosity and you’ll discover your potential – working alongside talented colleagues who will support you to get where you want to go. As a graduate with us, you can build a career, make your impact and discover what you can achieve.
Together, we can shape the future of mobility.
Applications for our 2022 UK Graduate programme are now open.
OUR PROGRAMMES.
As a graduate, you’ll be involved in a variety of strategic and operational projects and you'll get the chance to strengthen your business profile. Supported by mentors and surrounded by fellow graduates, you’ll gain invaluable insights into business processes and strategy, and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know BMW Group’s culture and brands from the inside out.
During your time as a graduate, you’ll take on assignments of different lengths across different departments. You’ll start and end in your home department, with two or three flexible assignments in-between. One of these must involve working cross-functionally and you may also have the option to do an international placement. Alongside your assignments you’ll also receive training on team building, your personal impact and our brand academy.
Our 18-month Global Leadership Development Programme (GLDP) is a direct path to success for both graduates and young professionals. We recognise that leadership must be learned, which is why international experience and variety are an integral part of our GLDP, giving you the skills you need to succeed. If you’re passionate about creating the automotive and mobility solutions of tomorrow, enjoy taking on responsibility and are looking for the opportunity to work abroad, then our GLDP is for you.
You’ll undertake two six-month projects within your chosen major and secondary fields, and two three-month periods working abroad in two different locations. Alongside this, you’ll also gain experience in our production, dealership and customer service areas and have access to training with the BMW Training Academy. After 18 months, you’ll graduate and be ready to begin your career in your chosen field.

I knew joining BMW Group was a great start point and working here would give me great momentum for my career but it’s exceeded expectations.
The company is great at giving you responsibility. Sometimes you feel like you've been pushed in at the deep end, but that's how you accelerate, and this is what I love about it!
My manager was so supportive. She helped me to really get involved in everything because she knew that I wanted to grow my career here.
I didn’t have all the knowledge of the processes, but everyone helped and supported me. I’ve had the opportunities to learn from all kinds of experiences, and my manager always worked with me to develop a plan for me and my career.
After talking to graduates already on the programme, I was impressed by how much the BMW Group believes in developing its graduates as the future of the company. I couldn’t see myself anywhere else.
The mentorship I received from senior management was key in directing my career. Whenever I had questions or needed guidance, they would direct me in the right path.
