We are on the search for talented and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of working with us as an apprentice. With our range of apprenticeships at four sites across the UK, we offer the chance to take on real responsibility and learn from the best in the industry. Whether it's within a manufacturing, engineering, technical or business areas of BMW Group, our new apprentices will need the right blend of skills, education and ambition to make the most of every opportunity that comes their way. Apprenticeships last between 1.5 and four years, and training leads to an NVQ level three qualification - with some apprentices having the opportunity to progress right through to degree level. Joining our apprenticeship programme will quickly help you to build up a network of professional contacts and lay the foundations for a successful career.

You will join a team responsible for the rapid detection, rectification and prevention of faults within our production system equipment and technology. You will also support the maintenance of the automated machinery and equipment to ensure that our plants are able to run smoothly and efficiently.

During your four years as an apprentice, you will work towards various qualifications including a BTEC National Certificate followed by a level 3 NVQ competency based qualification, all of which are based on engineering and maintenance systems in the business. Depending on your performance there is a potential to go on to study a HNC in mechatronics in your final two years of the programme.

Our Leather apprenticeships are available at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood.

It takes incredible craftsmanship to deliver Rolls-Royce quality. As a Leather apprentice, you will get the complete set of leatherwork skills from inspection, preparation and cutting, to sewing, covering and assembly work. 

With hard work and commitment, you will achieve qualifications in Modern Manufacturing over three years together with accompanying technical qualifications in Leather. You will learn skills to start a successful career within the Leather Shop including inspection, preparation, cutting, covering, sewing, upholstery and assembly work. 

Where is this apprenticeship available?
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood.

As a graduate apprentice in engineering, you will play a role in developing our world-leading products. Whether it’s the testing and quality control of parts, or getting involved with research and new vehicle development – this is a wide ranging apprenticeship that will put your engineering career on an excellent footing from the start.

In this four-year programme, you will be expected to achieve a number of different qualifications that, based on performance, will lead you onto an Honours degree in Engineering.

As a toolmaker apprentice, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the press tool to improve the quality of the parts produced and ensure that the business is able to run smoothly and efficiently. You may also be involved in the manufacturing stages, such as in the design, build, modification and commissioning of the press tools.

In this four-year scheme, you will gain several qualifications such as a BTEC National Certificate and a level 3 NVQ competency based qualification, all of which are based on engineering and maintenance systems in the business. You could also have the opportunity to go on to study a HNC in mechatronics in your final two years of the programme, depending on your performance.

Where is this apprenticeship available?
MINI Plant Swindon.

As part of a Business apprenticeship, you will have the choice to join departments such as Logistics, Human Resources or Finance, amongst others. From the beginning of the programme, you will be placed in the organisation where you will get on-the-job training whilst studying at university.

In the first two years, you will study for a foundation degree in Business Management and Communication. Then, based on your performance, you will have the opportunity to work towards a Bachelor’s degree in your 3rd and final years.

Our financial services teams are key to providing finance solutions for customers to purchase our premier products. They are responsible for appraising and setting up finance applications, providing excellent customer services to these accounts and dealing with any complaints.

During your 18-month programme, you will receive on-the-job training and will work towards professional financial service and customer services qualifications to expand and develop your knowledge of financial services regulations and customer relationship management.

Where is this apprenticeship available?
BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd; Alphabet (GB) Ltd.

During your apprenticeship as an IT technician, you will gain experience in all five of our IT departments which are; Work Place Solutions (Company Hardware), Networks and Servers, Application Management, Delivery (Software Building) and Service Delivery.

Depending on requirements, you may also have the chance to support software users around the business. As well as on-the-job training during the first two years of the scheme, you will work towards a foundation degree in Computer Science, and based on your performance, you will also have the opportunity to study for a BSc in Computer Science in the following year.
