The many architectural and historical points of interest, including Dublin Castle (1204), the Spire of Dublin and Guinness Storehouse, converge with new examples of internationally-celebrated architecture, such as the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and Samuel Beckett Bridge. Dublin also has more green spaces per square kilometre than any other European capital city, with 97% of city residents living within 300 metres of a park area.

Dublin is a vibrant cosmopolitan centre with a lively nightlife and a variety of cultural events to enjoy, and with over 15% of the residents born outside the country, and an estimated 50% being younger than 25, this capital is not only ethnically diverse but also among Europe’s most youthful cities.

BMW Ireland was established in 2003 as a national sales company. The entity is home to all employees who work to handle the sales and marketing for BMW products, as well as financial and leasing solutions to customers that wish to own or hire a BMW or MINI.

BMW Ireland and BMW Financial Services Ireland Limited, located in green surroundings next to Santry Park in Santry Demense, are just a 20-minute drive from central Dublin and a 10-minute drive from Dublin International Airport.

There is currently a strong retail network with 14 BMW and 9 MINI centres across Ireland, as well as two BMWi Agents, one in Dublin and one in Cork. In 2015 all the retail centres have undergone an extensive refurbishment and now offer world class facilities, including aftersales centres, which are an award winning premium service for BMW customers.

The BMW Group in the United Kingdom.

The BMW Group in the United Kingdom consists of marketing, sales and financial service organisations - as well as manufacturing plants for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Three UK plants have a part to play in MINI production - BMW Group Plant Hams Hall manufactures engines, BMW Group Plant Swindon produces body pressings and sub-assemblies for MINI, and the parts come together at BMW Group Plant Oxford - where body shell production, paint and final assembly takes place. BMW Group Plant Oxford, therefore, is the heart of MINI production.

Also under BMW Group’s UK umbrella are BMW UK Ltd. and BMW Financial Services in Farnborough and Dublin, the Rolls-Royce Manufacturing Plant in Goodwood and Alphabet (GB) Limited as Europe’s leading provider of Business Mobility Services in Farnborough.

The manufacturing launch of MINI in April 2001 marked the start of a remarkable new phase in the history of the BMW Group. The very latest car production facilities were introduced in a £230 million investment programme for the new car range. Since 2000, around £1.75 billion has been invested in the group's UK manufacturing sites.

The United Kingdom is the only country where BMW Group is represented by production plants for all three of our premium brands.
