Specialist parts quality (f/m/x)

We are offering an interesting and challenging job in the BMW plant Debrecen in the area of the supplied parts quality frontdesk organization. The essence of your responsibility will be to make sure that no defective parts will hit our assembly lines.

What awaits you?

• Processing of complaints from the assembly lines regarding defective supplied parts and initiating immediate problem solving actions.
• Initiating sorting actions in collaboration with the quality service provider in order to protect our production lines from defects and providing clean points.
• Root cause analysis of problems in collaboration with BMW internal crossfunctional teams. Reporting of supplier KPI’s and improvement activities in management meetings.
• Creating sustainable solutions with the supplier for defects and validation of 8D reports.
• Monitoring of the supplier performance and creating quality improvement activities where needed. Collaboration with other BMW plants for information exchange about current supplier issues.
• Attendance of the respective plant quality meetings and representation of the relevant topics. Planning, steering and implementation of operational processes for continuous improvement.
• Technical leadership for dedicated parts family. Trigger implementation of preventive actions.

What should you bring along?

• Bacherlor or master degree in engineering, business administration or similar qualification.
• Expert knowledge in quality management and supply chain management.
• Expertise in automotive industry, industrial production processes, technology and material science.
• Expertise in continuous improvement and value stream management.
• Individual responsible and foresighted way of working, high level of discernment, ability of responsible risk management between technical und economical premises. High level of assertiveness and team leadership.
• Business fluent Hungarian and English as well as willingness for domestic and international travels.
• Young Graduates welcome with training on the job.
