E/E Methodology and High-Voltage ESD Coordinator Specialist - Energy Module (f/m/x)

Our team is responsible for the quality management in the production of the energy modules for battery electric vehicles at our newest production site in Debrecen, Hungary. We ensure that the energy modules are produced according to the highest quality standards and comply with their specifications. Whatever we do, we want to make sure that our customers’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
What awaits you?
- After joining us you will get a state-of-the-art training on the high voltage battery test at our factories and Research and Development facilities in Germany.
- You will act as a main interface when changes in hard- and software will be introduced and work in a team to assess the impact on our testing equipment and tools.
- In close collaboration with R&D and partners in other BMW plants you are responsible that all necessary modifications in test equipment and analysis tools are developed and implemented in time in our plant.
- Your task will be to continuously develop further our test systems and tools together with internal and external partners and participate in teams to continuously improve the test methodology.
- You will act as ESD coordinator for the production of the energy module and coordinate the implementation and adherence to ESD norms and standards. You represent the plant in the ESD circle of the BMW Group and maintain regular contact with the ESD coordinator of other plants.
- Cooperating and regularly exchanging with partners in our other plants and central R&D functions will be a core element in this job.
What you should bring along?
- Master or bachelor degree in electrical, mechatronics, mechanical or automotive engineering with relevant working experience preferably in the automotive industry.
- Relevant working experience in an ESD-sensitive environment and proficiency with applicable norms and standards.
- Good understanding of chains of effect in mechatronic systems of modern vehicles, first experience in the use of diagnostic tools for electronic control units and data networks in the automotive sector.
- High level of analytical skill as well as strong teamwork, organization and communication skills coupled with flexibility, a high sense of responsibility and a hands-on approach on problem-solving.
- Openness and willingness to travel for 1 year of qualification in Germany, divided into several training blocks.
- Fluent English and Hungarian language skills are a must, additional basic knowledge of German would be an advantage.
