We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of innovations and technology development in the Logistics Planning department in Munich.

With increasing product individualization and globalization of production networks, logistics planning is challenged by increasing complexity. At the same time, new technologies offer the opportunity to generate sustainable competitive advantages.

What awaits you?

• As part of your job, you will be a member of the "Logistics Robotics" project and will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative automation concepts for various intralogistics processes using intelligent robotics systems.
• In addition, you will evaluate various use cases in the BMW network for economic viability and feasibility. 
• As a member of the robotics team process you will find yourself in an interface position between robotics development, the industrialization team and the vehicle plants as our customers. 
• In addition, you will gain insight into other topics from the area of Innovation & Industry 4.0 and help with the planning and implementation of future projects. 
• Communication with internal and external partners completes your exciting area of responsibility. 

What should you bring along? 

• Degree in engineering or a comparable course of study. 
• Understanding of automation technology and logistics processes. 
• Experienced use of MS Office. 
• Business fluent German and good English skills.
• Team and communication skills, confident appearance and the ability to work on one's own initiative.
