Reworker (f/m/x)

As a Reworker in the Bodyshop or Paint Shop (Ecoat) we count on you to ensure the quality of our outer surface is faultless based on Quality Checking plans and documents within BMW systems.

We are looking for Reworker colleagues with an understanding of how to detect and rework metal related faults on the outer surface areas of the bodyshell. Ability to use welding equipment would be an advantage. You will be part of our production team taking responsibility for body outer surface quality.

Your focus is on checking process quality based on plans and defined workflow. In regards of deviations, your responsibility is to stop the production process in collaboration with your team and process supporter and initiate improvement processes. After requalification of the process, your task is to check the product, rework the faults and release it back to production.

• You will have the opportunity to enroll in our extensive training program abroad that prepares you to monitor joining processes of the product, detect deviations, define necessary measures in alignment with the team to ensuring a stable product in the production process.
• After the successful training, it is possible to get involved in the integration of new vehicle projects.
• Your task will be to identify surface quality issues with our complete bodyshell or painted surfaces, repair any imperfections and enter faults into our quality managements systems.
• We count on your ability to drive continuous improvement in your department to ensure quality improvement and cost reductions.
• You will be a part of a team working together to solve problems.

What you should bring along?

• Professional experience and technical knowledge on how defects are generated and how to repair surface quality issues, as well as knowledge on what material to use when reparing said defects within Bodyshop or Paintshop environments.
• Experience in the field of geometry, measurement, mechanical machining or/and sheet metal processing, automotive field would be an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, a flair for dealing with people and the ability to mediate in situations of conflict. We would like to rely on your sense of self-initiative and pronounced quality awareness.
  • Openness to working in shifts.
  • Fluent Hungarian language knowledge is a must, English or German would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and perform majority of the BMW qualification program abroad for up to the first year of employment.
