What awaits you?

• We accept vehicle and motorcycle orders from markets and dealers worldwide in our applications.
• Technical requirements (from markets, interface partners, etc.) are taken up by you and translated into an adequate IT design and then implemented by our external IT service providers or by our IT hub in South Africa.
• You work in an international team together with external service providers and our IT hub in South Africa.
• With conceptual and innovative strength, you help to improve, renew and migrate our applications step by step to our AWS cloud platform.
• In addition to the further development of the product, you will always keep an eye on the stable and highly available operation of our applications.
• You are in an exciting environment with complex tasks and continuously changing requirements.

What you should bring along?

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, business mathematics or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT.
• Several years of project experience with complex IT projects and working with an IT provider.
• Experience with cloud technologies as well as the motivation to transition complex IT applications into a modern system landscape using cloud technologies (AWS).
• Ideally technical expertise in one or more of the following areas (not mandatory):
  • Java/JEE (e.g. Payara, WebLogic Server)
  • Messaging (MQS, IBM IIB, Kafka)
  • Relational data bases (Oracle, Postgres)
  • RESTful and SOAP services
  • Jenkins
  • Git/Bitbucket. 
• Practical experience in agile software development.
• Fluent in business English, German language skills an advantage.
