IT Specialist Shopfloor (f/m/x)

Developing and building the future of mobility requires state-of-the-art IT and production systems. We offer you an exciting job as an IT Specialist Shopfloor (f/m/x) at BMW Group Debrecen Plant. In this role you will be the part of the construction and the digitalization of the „birth place” of the "New Class".

What awaits you?

• You will take on the task of troubleshooting and coordinating complex disruptions in production and IT-systems.
• You will pilot digital solutions and future innovations, support commissioning and be the first contact for production.
• You will be responsible for the optimization of applications softwares, databases and cloud-supported applications in the production.
• Responsibility for installing and updating the necessary IT security mechanisms (e.g. patch management, virus signatures) to avoid IT attacks, data loss and data misuse in the production environment.
• Implementation of patches and updating of firmware versions in coordination with the production areas, central functions and other plants.
• You will be responsible for turning raw data coming from production machines sinto a structured database and for analysing these data.

What you should bring along?

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or other related field with several years of experience in IT support preferably from a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in dealing with databases, gateways and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, MXNet, Keras, OpenCv, Scikit-Learn, MLIB, Pattern would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of one or more common programming languages (e.g. C#, Batch, SQL, Python, Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, HTML/CSS) would be a nice  to have.
• Hungarian and a basic level of English are required; German knowledge would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and carry out a large part of the BMW Group qualification program abroad in the first year of employment.
