What awaits you?
You define architectures and strategies to monitor BMW’s global backend services for connected vehicles.
You design, implement and operate group-wide platforms for monitoring and software validation.
You specify how monitoring data are processed, analyzed, and combined with other data assets to detect anomalies and correct issues before our customer services are affected.
You provide guidance to the DevOps teams as how to use and deploy monitoring services in their functional and technical domains.
You support the resolution of complex incidents by analyzing observability data or coordinating cross-functional expert teams.
You lead or support initiatives to work out innovative concepts and architectures to monitor customer-facing services and multi-tier microservice architectures.
What you should bring along?
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar field of study.
Excellent knowledge in monitoring and analytics tools and services (preferably Dynatrace, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
Professional experience with reliability engineering, DevOps tools and complex distributed cloud-based services (e.g. JEE, AWS, Azure, HTTP/REST, MQTT).
Business fluent in English and German language skills.
