We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of driving simulation. 

At BMW's new Driving Simulation Center, we develop simulation technologies that allow us to experience the future of driving. We are using various map formats to generate a virtual representation of the real world on our driving simulators. During your internship, you will be involved in developing algorithms to create, analyze and test real-world maps.

What awaits you?

• Creating and adjusting real maps with RoadRunner.
• Developing your own algorithms for extracting semantics from map files.
• Developing concepts to compare maps with human driving behavior.

What you should bring along?

• Ability to work independently.
• Completed bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field.
• Programming skills required (Python, MATLAB).
• Knowledge in the field of map formats desirable (OpenDrive, NDS).
• Experience with RoadRunner desirable.
• Passion for creative problem solving.
