As Compliance Manager at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating the local compliance management system. This particularly includes responsibility for compliance in the areas of fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, antitrust compliance, corruption prevention, data privacy protection, human rights, export controls, and technical compliance. Further responsibilities may include information protection and internal control systems.
What awaits you?
- Planning and implementing compliance processes, systems, and measures. Monitoring implementation and effectiveness and reporting to management.
- Executing regular compliance risk assessments, including privacy impact assessments.
- Communication and training managers and employees regarding compliance and raising compliance awareness.
- Advising management and employees regarding individual compliance aspects in business processes and business decisions.
- Processing of compliance cases and notifications, including analysis, mitigation, and reporting if necessary.
- Dealing with local investigations and interacting with judicial, administrative, or supervisory authorities in regulatory matters.
- Supporting BMW Group central compliance functions in implementing local remediation measures to mitigate risks or stop violations.
What should you bring along?
- University degree, preferably in the areas of economics, compliance, or law, and certificates in the areas of compliance, law and/or data protection (preferably experience as DPPO).
- At least 5 years of professional experiences in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
- Basic knowledge in criminalistics, forensics, and labor law.
- Very good command of the Hungarian and English language, spoken and written.
- Competent handling of MS Office applications, in particular Word, MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, integrity, and ethics.
