As a Shift-Leader (f/m/x) assembly, you will become part of a dynamic, highly motivated, and agile team with the aim of setting up the assembly in the new Debrecen plant and the initial launch of the New Class vehicle architecture.

As a Shift-Leader (f/m/x) assembly, you will become part of a dynamic, highly motivated and agile team with the aim of setting up the assembly in the new Debrecen plant and the initial launch of the New Class vehicle architecture.

What can you expect?

As part of your work, you are responsible for the selection, composition, recruitment as well as technical and disciplinary management of the employees of the assembly area.

• You manage your production area of assembly and are responsible for the issues of quality, costs, and delivery reliability.
• You will organize and optimize your area with a focus on process reliability and value creation orientation.
• As part of your new role, you will lead your employees with confidence and promote their performance and personal initiative.
• Driving the overall performance within your area, you will put your problem-solving skills into practice and push for continuous improvement to ensure your team meets targets.
• Ensuring operations are compliant with legal and internal requirements of safety, environmental protection, cleanliness, and ergonomics.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field of study, other appropriate experience, or qualifications in related field of manufacturing is valuable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or similar positions in Automotive Industry, specifically in production or quality area of assembly. Previous leadership experience is beneficial.
• A high degree of flexibility, motivation, and a sense of responsibility.
• Hungarian and English working proficiency is required. German proficiency would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and perform majority of the BMW Group qualification program abroad during the first year of employment.
