At BMW Car IT, a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW AG, we live and breathe software. Our ECUs are very complex and many software development teams from multiple sites and companies are contributing to the overall Software design.
As Project Leader for the Software Stability, you are responsible for end-to-end coordination of Software Stability topics and corresponding KPIs across all Software development teams.
What awaits you?
You will steer Software stability improvement through sub-organizations and external partners.
You will report the status and progress to the program management.
Furthermore, you act as function owner for the stability toolchain to track convergence and quickly identify regressions.
You will define the Software stability convergence action plan.
Additionally, you provide inputs to a team of Software experts working with you on those activities.
What should you bring along?
University degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study.
At least 5 years of working experience in software project management.
Strong experience in leading distributed software development teams.
Good understanding of embedded Linux or Android systems.
Excellent communication skills, including ability to discuss technical topics with a business audience.
A customer-oriented mindset along with initiative and the ability to work independently.
