Inspection planning specialist (f/m/x)

As a specialist inspection planning painted body you will be responsible of setting up and implementing the inspection plan for quality and process related product inspection and test plan in the press shop, body shop and paint shop (painted body) based on the BMW quality strategy.
You are developing the inspection plan for the Neue Klasse car models in collaboration with the central product development and international process partners for the painted body core areas of geometry, surface, corrosion protection and joining technology. In the realization phase you are responsible for the implementation in collaboration with the partners on-site on the production shop floor.
What awaits you?
- Responsibility to set up and implement vehicle inspection plans in technologies press shop, body shop and paint shop based on the generic inspection strategy in collaboration with process partners from project and production.
- Definition of frequencies and dynamization of inspections, as well as related capacity planning.
- Definition of the requirements and support the qualification of inspection staff in related production areas.
- Plausibility check of relevant controlled documents (process instructions, vehicle requirements, etc.) regarding an impact on inspection planning.
- Continuous improvement of inspection planning regarding content and resource efficiency.
- Collaboration within international BMW Group quality network via relevant working circles.
- Tailored qualification program within the BMW network for up to one year.
What should you bring along?
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field of study or other equal professional qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in similar positions, preferably with experience in sheet metal, body in white production and/or painting shop/ corrosion protection.
- Knowledge in Quality Methods (PDCA/FMEA) and Statistical Methods for capability studies (SPC).
- Competency for interpretation and plausibility check of measurement results and root cause analysis,
- Capability to process, understand and work with relevant process specifications, create process and work instructions; good communication, teamwork, problem solving skills.
- English and Hungarian knowledge in both written and verbal. German would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel during an initial qualification period of 6 month up to one year.
