Our feature development team is responsible for the development of in-car information and communication systems with a strong focus on head units and clusters.
What awaits you?
- As part of our team, you are responsible for the system and software architecture of power and vehicle state management functions.
- Within the domain power and vehicle state management you are mainly responsible for power management, power saving and the control unit power cycle, e.g., on / off, suspend to X and CPU power modes, spanning across all chipsets and multiple operating systems like Linux, Android and AUTOSAR.
- You analyse requirements and feature requests and you derive system and software requirements.
- Furthermore you define concepts and the architecture of power and vehicle state components and how they interact within the E/E and the hardware/software system.Also you write requirement specifications for RFQs and assess the quotations technically.
- To realise the architecture and assist in component implementation within ECU development projects, you work together with internal development teams and suppliers.
- In addition, you support project managers with planning and cost calculation and feature approval criteria definition.
- Last but not least, you analyse incorrect behaviour of the running system for architectural defects and provide solutions together with the development teams.
What should you bring along?
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- More than 4 years of experience working as system and software architect for power and state management of control units, ideally in vehicles.
- Profound knowledge and professional experience in system architecture of automotive control units, power and automotive controllers, modern ARM based SoCs, especially for power management and system bring-up.
- Professional experience in embedded software development and software architecture of Linux / Android and ideally multi-OS hypervisor-based systems.
- Knowledge about E/E architecture, vehicle state management, automotive bus technologies and interface design, especially Ethernet and CAN.
- Business-fluent in English and at least basic German with the motivation to improve language skills.
