Brands are built on emotion, but underneath brilliant marketing is an operational engine which transforms art into science. In the “App as a Channel Team” we work in tandem with 46 digital mobile markets across the global to create new interactive journeys for customers to discover our brand, explore our vision and products, and simplify selecting and purchasing the right products and services to achieve their desires.

 

We are looking for an individual to work together with our central team based in Munich to support our global mobile operations. The scope will cover a broad solution lifecycle: from rollout of new markets, features and functionalities to performance management via data driving analysis.

 

Key focus areas for the role include:

  • Monthly content distribution operations for the “Explore Tab” – our in-app digital magazine 
  • Tracking and measuring digital performance of markets via analytics
  • Testing of new app features and concepts with markets/development 
  • Rollout of new product capabilites and updates to markets
  • Supporting performance dialog activities, e.g. preparing market management performance reports and adhoc analyses
  • Additional dedicated market projects (e.g. helping markets to improve distribution of the app in their markets)
     

Application credentials we desire:

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills. Flexibility to use various dashboards and tools (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI) to address business questions, e.g. what types of content performs best in the German market or where do we have potential uplifts for app distributions.
  • Ability to interact and work directly with international counterparts, e.g. internal colleagues in the national sales organization but also with our analytics suppliers (note: this will primarily be done via virtual channels, e.g. Skype or teams)
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a process and data driven environment, e.g. working with shared workspaces like Confluence and data solution platforms
  • Ability to take tasks and work independently while providing clear and transparent progress reports
