Aftersales Technologies Rollout and Operations Manager
The Aftersales Technologies Rollout and Operations Manager is responsible to create, plan, lead and manage all US aftersales systems training strategy, change management strategy, operations planning, testing, rollout strategy, development, implementation, and support – present and future. The selected candidate will identify, organize, and present relevant US market requirements to BMW AG and convince central AG departments to implement US market requirements for future Aftersales technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic concepts for training and change management development, product testing, product rollout and implementation, operations and support for all Aftersales technology products and processes.
- Identify KPIs for measurement of dealer adoption, satisfaction, and impact on dealer operational excellence and link to customer satisfaction, manage the creation of reporting, and present reporting status to upper management.
- Influence and plan with the Aftersales Systems Strategy and Process Manager the design, development, and implementation of new Aftersales Systems processes, strategies, and technology for the US market. (e.g. – AWP, ISPI etc.)
- Lead, manage, and develop direct reports regarding Aftersales systems operations tasks and goals.
- Construct strategies and proposals with relevant local Aftersales departments.
- Gather & communicate requirements to AG (e.g., MREC process) and work together towards planning and managing a cohesive market implementation.
- Plan and manage the testing, training, rollout and support for Aftersales technologies and software for all US dealers and internal facilities (e.g. AWP, MyBMW app etc.)
- Report on program success to management and cross-functional departments to ensure communication and partnership in program by providing transparency. This includes the identification of KPIs for each program element, the definition of calculations, and managing the construction and distribution of various reports.
- Work closely with Munich departments to ensure collaboration, alignment, and bi-directional cooperation on program content and concepts to avoid duplication of work and costs by hosting and attending regular meetings and workshops.
In support of BMW of North America’s business objectives, this position requires regular attendance at a BMW office with remote work capability (hybrid). In-office days may be assigned by the line manager.

The pay range for this role is $119,560 - $140,659.
The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical Science (IT, etc) or equivalent
- 5-7 years’ experience of automotive engineering and/or information systems engineering
- 5-7 years working in project and team management
Preferences:
- MS in Engineering or technical science or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (Office, MS-project, etc)
- Excellent analytical capability
- Knowledge of dealer service systems and processes
- Good presentation skills to large and small audiences including upper management
- German language fluency
- Structured thinker with ability to plan complex projects
