Description
The Training & Learning Technologies Intern will:
- Implement ideas to execute our strategy for culture transformation, learning technologies and employee development.
- Lead and support projects for culture transformation, learning technologies, and qualification programs.
- Recognize opportunities to leverage current technology to increase process effectiveness.
- Identify areas where digitalization and innovation can improve the learning experience.
- Support employee development topics with problem solving, vendor research, and event execution.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Planning, marketing, and organizing Leadership and Culture project initiatives.
- Researching and Developing new courses/programs for leadership/professional development.
- Identifying ways to improve our current processes.
- Creating presentations and documents using Corporate Identity standards for marketing and internal communication.
- Project Management.
- Website updates to improve user functionality.
- Create eLearning courses, cultivate eLearning curriculum and implement ways to increase learner engagement on eLearning platforms.
- Project Management support for strategic enabler projects.
- Marketing for department and project initiatives.
- Organizing Peer to Peer learning groups for interdepartmental teams.
- Video and graphic visuals for learning and development.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Operations, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Psychology or Human Resources.
- Computer skills in Microsoft OS (Microsoft suite) and website development.
- Communication, Organization and Time Management skills.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for co-op positions.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE 05/20/2024 - 08/09/2024.
