Recruiting Intern (Summer 2024)
The Recruiting Intern will support all processes for the full life cycle of recruiting for Plant Spartanburg and the Gen>NEXT Intern and Co-Op program. They will provide administrative support, event planning and coordination, project management, materials design, research/analysis, process documentation, tracking and reporting.
The qualified Intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Prepare, publish, and pre-screen candidate applications in our web-based Global Recruiting Solution (GRS).
- Communicate with University Career Services contacts to schedule and attend Info Sessions and Career Fairs. Some travel will be required (primarily in the Carolinas and Georgia).
- Assist with Recruiting and Student Programs administration such as documentation tracking and filing, preparing reports, and completing process documentation.
- Assist with coordination of New Hire Orientations.
- Support onboarding efforts for new hires, utilizing customer service skills.
- Maintain project plan and task lists for various individual and team projects.
- Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards.
- Assist with developing content for LinkedIn.
- Support New Hire Orientation and Onboarding projects.
- Create, review and revise program process instructions, promotional documentation, forms, and tracking documents.
- Pursing a degree in Business (preferably with HR focus) or Marketing.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
