Electrical Engineering Co-op (Summer 2024)

This is a co-op position which requires three alternating rotations (e. g. 1st rotation: spring, 2nd rotation: fall, 3rd rotation: summer).

The Electrical Engineering Co-op will provide key support to the Technical planning department and give broad experience in automotive manufacturing processes to the candidate.

• Assist assembly planners with procurement & set-up of assembly tools.
• Gather and report data for weekly presentation of team deliverables.
• Assist assembly planners with special equipment or new vehicle projects.
• Review, create and modify process descriptions for continuous improvement within assembly.
• Tooling and fixture support to the assembly line.
• Process writing and rollout.
• Risk filter execution for assembly process and equipment.
• Shutdown steering and reporting.

Launch topic tracking and resolution.

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical or Computer engineering).
• Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, Power BI etc. preferred).
• Detail-oriented.
• Organized.
• Effective communication skills.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for co-op positions. 
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
