HR Service Center Intern (Summer 2024)

The HR Service Center Intern will experience the entire HR landscape by participating in process improvement and contributing to activities in the HR Service Center.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

  • Support new hire orientations and new hire meetings.
  • Lead process improvement activities.
  • Complete data analysis and create data visualizations and dashboards. 
  • Gather documentation from new Associates and follow-up for missing information.
  • Lead process improvement activities.
  • Support Plant Spartanburg’s service anniversary award program and ensure delivery to proper recipients.
  • Conduct new hire audits to ensure accurate information is received in a timely manner.
  • Complete BMW Group Family Vehicle Purchase Authorizations.
  • Support of Employee Self-Service portal and mobile app.
  • Support of HR Service Center marketing campaign.
  • Other duties as needed.
  • Pursuing a degree in Business (Human Resources, Business Management, etc.) or Information Technology.
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
