Description

We connect the network with integrated supply chain solutions to safeguard production. Ensuring parts supply at the right time, right place, quantity and quality for continuous production. The Focus of our department is Material Control, Transportation Control and Delivery Assurance. We are the Gatekeepers of the supply chain for the ultimate driving machine.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

              ·

·       Launch packaging availability, reporting and tracking

·       Launch KPI updates, improvement and development: T-Cars; aged stock; on-time delivery; adherence to standards; launch supplier issues in delivery and manufacturing

·       Test-car part availability updates and improvement work package to ensure part availability 

·       Improving handover and part transition process to series

·       Ensuring data quality (Production Start, Packaging planning etc.)

·       Programming Robotic Process Automations to increase efficiency

  • Smart Container Management,
  • KPI Dashboards,
  • Data Analytics and Visualization,
  •  Sustainability (Reduction of CO2 emissions, e.g. E-Trucks),
  • Continuous Improvement Projects, 
  • Digitalization Projects,
  • Value Stream Mapping,
  • Part Defect Reduction,
  • Digitalization of Shipments,
  • Robotic Process Automation
 
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have completed (or will be an upperclassman by credit hours) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.4 or above (preferred).  Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus)  
  • Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Organized
  • Effective communication skills
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 20th-August 9th 2024
