Our Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate, and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough. We decided in November 2020 to bring together BMW Financial Services and Alphabet to stay relevant to our customers and continue to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

MINI is a unique business with an iconic product. Born in 1959, the original Mini captured hearts and minds across the country. From that day to this, we do things differently. Today’s MINI business has the same spirit, a small and agile part of the bigger BMW Group.
The Strategy function in MINI sits alongside Marketing, Product and Sales and links closely with all three areas of the business. It plays an important role in steering and coordinating the MINI business in the UK.
What will you be doing?
- Support in development and tracking of key timelines, including strategy and new model launch planning.
- Responsibility for weekly reporting dashboard tracking, including monitoring key performance metrics for MINI from Marketing, Sales, and the wider business.
- Administration and steering of key focus topic working groups, including Electric and MINI App.
- Support with developing the MINI team engagement strategy, including helping to organise team days and social activities.
- Develop the structure of key presentations, co ordinating content input from stakeholders across the business.
- Responsibility for assembling a report summarising a snapshot of the economy, automotive industry, and other significant news items which is used by management to inform future planning.
- Support the organisation and administration of key MINI meetings between stakeholders from all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership.
Qualifications and experience.
- Studying towards a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2. A Business or Management related field of study is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong relationship building skills and excellent inter-personal abilities, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Good organisation and time management, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
- Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, multi-task, and work under pressure.
- Creativity and innovative thinking to solve problems.
- An excellent team player.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office software, particularly PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Previous experience in presenting confidently, to a variety of internal stakeholders, ranging from senior staff to colleagues.
- A full UK Driving License would be advantageous but is not essential.
