Alphabet is our multi-make fleet leasing/fleet management business. The Alphabet marketing team sits as part of a wider financial services and insurance Marketing and External Comms team across a range of brands also including BMW, MINI, Motorrad and Alphera. We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our Marketing team at Alphabet. Our Marketing team are involved in activities across a variety of media including on- and offline marketing campaigns, product communication, CRM, corporate events and incentives, customer communications, channel communications, PR, research, reporting, and analysis. Supporting and developing activities across this complete range of Marketing topics is something you will be an integral and valued part of, ensuring Alphabet maintain an innovative and engaging marketing strategy.
What will you be doing?
Support the development and implementation of Alphabet’s marketing activities across a variety of media including: marketing campaigns, product communication, CRM, online and offline, corporate events and incentives, customer communications, channel communications, PR, research, reporting and analysis
Provide administrative support for the marketing and PR budget through efficient generation of purchase orders, goods receipting of supplier invoices and budget tracking activities.
Providing support to marketing team members where required for the delivery of marketing/PR activities and projects such as website changes, campaigns, events, social media, PR, and development/change initiatives.
Carrying out performance analysis tasks as required to support projects and to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This will involve considering things such as brand positioning, online traffic and customer feedback.
Supporting the maintenance of marketing and product materials, ensuring compliance with brand, legal and corporate identity standards.
Supporting the process of updating and rolling out any changes to brand identity frameworks across both on- and offline platforms and materials.
Supporting the face-to-face interaction between Alphabet and customers, prospects, industry opinion formers, and sales partners by assisting marketing team members to deliver physical/virtual events.
Using the learning support available to allow you to become a competent user of our purchasing tool, website content management system, email campaign tool, social media tool, and others as required.
Developing your working knowledge of the regulations and business obligations which are key to achieving fair outcomes for customers.
Introducing and offering a wider perspective to influence Alphabet’s use of innovative, effective, and appropriate communication channels. This may include proposing process improvements and efficiency opportunities by contributing ideas to improve our current ways of working.
Working with the Marketing team members including liaison with business area contacts and business support functions to support the delivery of Marketing initiatives.
Working with Creative, PR, Film, Event, or Print Production agencies as directed by Marketing team members to support the delivery of department marketing activities.

Qualifications and experience
Studying towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
Microsoft Office skills are advantageous.
Be able to demonstrate an interest in Marketing.
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
A passion for marketing.
High attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
Strong organisational skills, ensuring you can balance multiple ongoing projects at once.
