Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Service Operations (Field Quality) - 13 Month Placement (July 2024)

We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our Ownership Services, Service Operations team. Our Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service Operations team provide a range of support functions for our global dealer network in order to maximise customer satisfaction. The Field Quality team ensure that quality is maintained for all worldwide vehicles by monitoring and analysing field data raised by our global dealer network. This consists of requesting and analysing of components aiding our engineering team and suppliers to ensure robust solutions are achieved and approved.


What will you be doing?

  • Analysing dealer technical support cases to identify trends.
  • Supporting the Manager with ongoing project work.
  • Creating monthly internal and external reports.
  • Requesting of vehicle components for analysis and reviewing of quality reports.
  • Helping to improve and develop processes to support daily tasks, including creating of new processes.
  • Preparing team and department presentations.



Qualifications and experience

  • Studying towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM-related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to process information thoroughly and precisely.
  • Strong analytical skills, being able to draw intelligent conclusions from data. 
  • An interest in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
