Steering Transportation Senior Specialist

As Steering Transportation Senior Specialist you will be responsible to manage, measure and improve the efficiency and productivity of the BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi, Transportation network and its service provider performance, management of transport carriers to ensure schedule creation, schedule adherence and delivery method adherence such as WOW, DIMO, Direct Delivery, JIx , Seafreight, Airfreight, support for other departments and projects with transportation costs, attend and lead daily transportation meeting.

 

Furthermore, you will be responsible for Investigate container overages and shortages by monitoring service vendors impacting container availability for overseas supply, coordination, and monitoring of special freights for emergency orders. Also, you will investigate the feasibility of proposals by the process partners to optimize costs and transport schedule.

You should have:

-      Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business or any related field of study.

-      3+ years of experience in logistics and traffic transportation in the Automotive Industry.

-      Highly developed communication skills and teamwork oriented.

-      Fluent business English.
