As Logistics Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for supplier qualification to meet BMW Logistics requirements, daily control of the supplier performance and the targets with view to dates and quantities, initiate, prepare, and participate in logistic troubleshooting processes. Agreement on appropriate improvement measures with supplier and follow-up, participation in the strategic development of the supply chain process and logistics quality planning, leadership with view to the development of a concept for group-wide methods and logistics quality management tools and their enhancement.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of development measures in the supply chain process, Implementation of logistic problem-solving process including verification processes and the implementation of logistic process analyses to identify weaknesses in the supply process and agreement of appropriate measures for a sustainable improvement of the supplier’s supply capability and process stability.
You Should have:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or business administration preferably with logistics as specialization area.
5+ years of professional experience in the field of logistics/material planning/ warehouse operations/ preferably in the automotive industry.
2+ years of experience in Project Management.
Knowledge of logistic processes in the car industry.
Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, and good communication skills.
Highly developed sense of responsibility and a feeling for costs.
