The Entry-Level Technician role is an entry level position allowing the individual to be trained to perform automotive service work such as maintenance, pre-delivery checks, multi-point inspections, tire services and other services on BMW Group Vehicles.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Shuttle vehicles in and out of the workshops for staging purposes and/or road tests
• Perform services including routine inspections, new car prep, tire changes, technical campaigns and maintenances according to BMW guidelines
• Conduct system diagnostics and trouble-shooting for proper repairs
• Perform quality checks such as road tests to ensure the client’s concerns are properly addressed
• Maintain up-to-date training requirements with BMW
• Ability to work as a team with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, fellow Technicians as well as Management

• High School diploma / GED required

 Additional Skills/Special Skills:

• General automotive knowledge such as component names.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Valid in-state driver’s license and must maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
