Are you an expert in SQL and Linux? Do you have experience in Applications Operations?
As Production Shopfloor IT Applications Coordinator, you will be responsible for continuous seamless operations of the production shopfloor IT in the technologies Bodyshop, Paintshop and Assembly. You will be the level 2 and level 3 application support function, including night and weekend support as part of a rotation.
Your responsibility also includes further development and implementation of the related Information Technology services and processes, in alignment with the corresponding business and IT domain and product owners. You will coordinate and take the lead role for the technical, functional development and for operational support of BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi, global systems and applications in your area.
As well, you will act as Operational Manager for applications using the ITIL framework, ensuring effective systems change control, problem management, incident management and release management; thereby reducing risk, ensuring quality, and business continuity.
Also, you will ensure the integrity, reliability, and reproduction of our internally and externally developed software products by following group and team standards. You proactively ensure the IT security and compliance of both planned systems as well as existing systems under operational control in your area of responsibility.
You should have:
- Master´s or Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field of study.
- 5+ years of experience using relational database, Postgres and Oracle Application DBA (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a variety of programming languages, preferably SQL, PLSQL, bash, PowerShell, VBScript , C/C++, JAVA, Python, JSP, J2EE. As well as deep knowledge of operating systems (LINUX/ WINDOWS /UNIX ).
- 1+ years working in Agile projects.
- Knowledge in IT Monitoring Technologies (Loki, Prometheus, Grafana, rundeck, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in backend integration methods (EAI, MQS, SFTP, etc.)
- Ability to work in global teams, social competency in a multinational and multicultural rapidly changing environment in combination with pronounced international travel availability.
