Body Maintenance Planning Analyst

Description

The Body Maintenance Planning Analyst:

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives through Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Centered Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance Optimization initiatives as well as detailed planning of maintenance activities to maximize the efficiency of the maintenance plan and increase the technical availability of department assets.
  • Coordinates supplemental maintenance for BiW Central Maintenance.
  • Identifies recurring maintenance problems, continually improves planning, scheduling, purchasing, store and data management.
  • Improves job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Scopes the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair/preventive/predictive/design-out-activities on the organizations plant and equipment.
  • Develops cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
  • Decides the purchase of all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work.
  • Establishes and maintains equipment parts catalog, equipment history, storeroom, min/maximum levels.
  • Writes applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
  • Maintains accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment.
  • Converts the organizations asset management and maintenance strategy into workplace activities.
  • Identifies root cause failure analysis and leads investigations for permanent solutions.
  • Applies management practices and parts management to ensure parts and equipment retain full reliability while stored.
  • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or the equivalent of 4 years of related professional experience in a manufacturing role.
  • 2+ years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance with a focus on automation.
  • 2+ years of equipment reliability concepts.
  • 2+ years computer skills (MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • 2+ years in SAP Plant Maintenance or equivalent CMMS System.
  • 2+ years written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years problem solving and analytical skills.
  • 2+ years of risk management strategy and practices related to plant and equipment.
  • 2+ years of quality management methods and practices related to plant and equipment reliability.
