Digital Marketing Manager, Eastern Region
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing BMW’s Regional Digital Strategy in Tier 3 and creating alignment with Tier 2. This includes targeting both prospects and owners via established and emerging digital channels to increase share of voice, and encourage lead generation. The Digital Marketing Manager will provide routine reporting on KPIs and be responsible for steering Shift Digital’s Field Representatives in the Region in accordance with the Region’s digital priorities. He/she will work with Shift Digital, Tier 3 website providers and the area sales team to ensure all Tier 3 websites abide by BMW Marketing Corporate Identity and AVP guidelines.
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving digital marketing knowledge and engagement across the Region. He/she will work with Regional and Field Sales Team to ensure that state of the art digital experiences and content are implemented across Tier 3 platforms in web and social. The Digital Marketing Manager will align digital marketing strategy with sales strategies on a regional level and develop key initiatives and leverage best practices in an effort to increase overall digital marketing effectiveness in the region.
The Digital Marketing Manager will work with RMM to collaborate with regional agency partners across the media-buying agency, website agencies, website providers and lead creative agency to ensure alignment of digital strategies, buys and creative content are developed for Tier 3. He/she will review and distribute monthly regional digital strategy metrics to MACO’s and dealers outlining areas of opportunity, defining and gaining consensus on new requirements, and working with BMW Marketing to prioritize and implement requirements (where applicable).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications or related field required
- Minimum 3-5 years Automotive and / or Brand Marketing and/or digital marketing professional experience
- 1-2 years of digital experience required
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with working in Automotive regional teams or at a dealership
- Experience in delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns,
- Experience working with or managing agency partners
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to travel
- Master’s Degree a plus
