Intern, Sales & Marketing Western Region

Description

This is a full-time internship position for a Spring Rotation expected to start June 5, 2023 through September 1, 2023 in Santa Monica, CA (or Southern California).

The intern will assist the sales and marketing team with various projects.  These projects include (but are not limited to) playing a vital assisting role in the attainment of sales objectives: researching key sales data and providing analytical analysis, which influences the sales objectives and steering.  The intern will support in the implementation of experiential marketing events and work closely with both the Regional Head of Sales and Regional Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Be available and responsive
  • Researching key sales data and provide analytical analysis
  • Support in the implementation of experiential marketing events, new vehicle launch activity including BMWi event activations
  • Creation of dealer meeting PowerPoint deck preparations
  • Provide feedback from online website reviews
  • Support and shadowing of Area Managers. 
  • Team player who can work with and support different functional areas

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors and/or Master’s degree program at an accredited college or university 
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application (year 3 or 4)
  • Field of Study: Marketing, Business Administration, Management or Marketing Research
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international students only)
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week) 
  • Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work full-time, primarily business hours, for 6-months

Preferences

  • Languages: English (fluent, oral and written)
  • Prior internship and/or relevant work experience
