BMW Shared Services, LLC provides consultative HR support to BMW Group companies in the US including BMW of North America, LLC, BMW Group Designworks, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, NA and BMW Financial Services NA, LLC.The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for living the vision of HR, including providing excellence in personal and team leadership and taking an active role in in ensuring the Business Partner model is successfully embedded. The role covers a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including associate relations, performance management, policy/process development, career development, individual associate coaching, talent management and change management.The HRBP acts as the first point of contact to the business and provides strategic and operational HR advice, coaching, development, and feedback to assigned business units. You are expected to understand the business beyond the HR function and influence the overall organization to ensure superior operational and business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as first point of HR Management contact for Leaders in assigned business units and point of contact for all People related issues in assigned business unit.
  • Support employees and managers on career, performance and associate issues.  Manage these actions for all assigned business units.
  • Educate and counsel managers on Annual Associate Performance Process.  Manage employee appraisals to identify associate issues and make suggestions to managers on viable candidates throughout the recruitment process.  Create opportunities that cater to employee developmental needs.
  • Coach and expand the capability of Managers to anticipate and pre-empt organizational issues.
  • Recommend and carry-out appropriate actions consistent with Company policies, work rules, and in compliance with all state and federal laws up to and including employment termination.
  • Collaboratively support talent management activities for assigned business units to ensure an adequate supply of qualified exempt and non-exempt candidates are developed for each opened, approved, budgeted position
  • Actively work on multiple projects in a collaborative team environment with open communication and high expectations for quality.

  • Salary Range:  $71,000 - $95,400 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ degree in Business or equivalent professional work experience required (Human Resources Management, preferred)
  • 3+ years of prior talent acquisition or recruiting experience including 2 years identifying passive talent and talent mining experience
  • 3+ years of recent Human Resources experience in Associate Relations or overall HR Management
  • 1 year of recent Human Resources experience in Compensation and Benefits in a mid to large organization.
  • Prior project management experience.
