The Specialist, BMW Charge Forward Program is responsible for managing an EV smart charging program.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage aspects of an EV smart charging program to ensure that objectives and timeline are met.
• Communicate project objectives and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the work of internal and external resources.
• Manage project budget, procure budget from internal stakeholders
• Manage smart charging software development. 
• Develop business requirements and specifications for software implementation.
• Coordinate software development, prioritize with respect to funding and resources.
• Develop and execute software test cases.
• Support in research about smart charging (energy market, utilities, authorities, EV, EVSE, etc.) 
• Explore future smart charging technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in project management
• Experience in product development 
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage parties with potentially conflicting interests
• Strong communication skills (presentation to internal stakeholders, senior management, press/media, employees, dealers, customers)
• Distinctive sense for new business opportunities, realistic approach to implement new ideas
• Experience in managing product launches or customer engagement initiatives is a plus
• Experience in liaising with authorities or working with research organizations is a plus
