Assistant Manager DevOps IT
Description
- Responsible for planning, incepting, implementing multiple projects and FG deliverables in the responsible BRM area including adherence to SLA with business and ITPM methodology
- Start up management for systems in project phase (BRI, infrastructure planning, contract management), handover to Operations after go live, and stabilization
- Responsible for new and existing product development including product design, code review and analysis
- Responsible for Operation of production systems for SF China
- Ensure continuous improvement of system stability, performance and robustness of SF production systems
- Work with other IT teams, service provider and business to improve scalebility and reliability, and impact analysis and proposed solution is acceptable by all parties
- Develop and manage the methods of automated deployment (development, testing and production) and the processes and tools required to execute those deployments
- Ensure the development vendor follows BMW guidelines of coding, architecture, unit & integration testing and security
- Responsible for Maintenance releases with interactions to business departments
- Create failure management processes and tools so outages can be handled without causing a loss of delivery
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
- Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of products / services
- Document processes and user guides for integrated tools and scripts
- Responsible for escalation process and manages Technical Continuity and Release Management liaising with Business Continuity Management
- Responsible for budget planning and management.
Qualifications
- Technical expert on Java and .NET technology stack
- Advanced DB Administration skills including SQL
- Technical expert on setting up and maintaining DevOps tools and processes
- Excellent in budget management spanning multiple projects
- Excellent commnunication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, word, outlook, access, PowerPoint, Project)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
- Experience with Agile software development, project management methodologies
- Experience administrating version control systems such as SVN
- Preferred: Understanding of central BMW IT processes and FG organization
- Understanding on business concepts in financial area, like credit, settlement, collection, call center, acccounting and etc.
