The Option & Pricing Specialist is responsible for managing and developing the BMW option portfolio (color and trim, functions and features, innovations). This position will make option pricing recommendations across all platforms based on comprehensive analysis in order to meet contribution margin/inflationary targets and competitive equipment levels. This position will also provide business case evaluations for product decisions and option planning.
This role is responsible for constantly reviewing and driving changes in the option offer structure and is collaborating with BMW headquarters initiatives/projects to fundamentally reduce offer complexity in accordance with the US option strategy. New business fields like option as a service have to be developed, explored and stepwise integrated in future offer and pricing structures. Furthermore, the vehicle pricing process as well as the pricing toolset (index calculations, competitor data access, residual value optimization through standard options, etc.) are being further developed by this role.
This role is the main US interface to BMW headquarters for pricing discussions as well as negotiation of US market position through close collaboration with Product Advocates and Specialists within the team as well as Sales and Controlling functions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Engineering, or Marketing
- 3-5 years of automotive experience and industry knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of BMW products and good understanding of competitors and product offering\
