What awaits you:
• Ensures adherence to transportation contracts and verifies the accuracy of all invoices submitted by vendors for contractually agreed-upon services.
• Creates shopping carts and collaborates with vendors to ensure billing compliance.
• Develops payment specifications and equipment requirements for transportation contracts.
• Utilizes Transportation Systems to maintain contract integrity and generate financial reports and analyses.
• Coordinates payment activities and contract compliance for new vendors or changes in vendor supply status, following transportation guidelines.
• Conducts weekly meetings with carriers and the Logistics department to identify and address potential issues. Serves as a communication liaison for Finance/Controlling.
• Validates and posts equipment detention invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
What you should bring?
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a logistics and transportation environment, with demonstrated expertise in finance and budget planning.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using systematic problem-solving techniques.
• Exceptional analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness and flexibility to participate in potential training programs in Germany and the United States.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP SRM and Microsoft Office, with particular expertise in Excel and Power BI.
