What awaits you?

• Responsibility to provide expert legal advice and guidance to management and business in Poland and, upon business need, other markets in the Central and Southeastern Europe (CS) Region, including the management of legal and reputational risks.
• Steering, managing and coordinating external law firms i in an efficient way where necessary, including the decision which queries to involve them in, budget negotiations and control, quality control, in close alignment with BMW Group Headquarter legal department.
• Advising on applicable regulatory as well as corporate obligations and procedures in Poland.
• Analyzing and communicating legislative and jurisprudential developments pro-actively and providing guidance on how to best respond to them.
• Implementation of legal projects in Poland and the CS Region initiated by the BMW Group Headquarter legal department.
• First point of contact for all internal legal requests, especially supporting commercial and legal negotiations as well as drafting and validating contracts.
• Close collaboration with BMW Group Headquarter legal department.
• Working in an international environment (Location Salzburg or Warsaw).

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Polish Law, preferably admitted to practice as a lawyer.
• 2 – 5 years working experience in a reputable law firm or as in-house lawyer. . 
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience, preferably in the following legal areas: Consumer Protection, Distribution, General Commercial, Corporate, Competition/Antitrust, Contract, Labor.
• High competence in communication, collaboration, accountability, problem solving attitude and hands-on mentality.
• Interest in technical and economic contexts and enthusiasm for BMW Group products.
• Willingness to travel aborad up to 25%.
• Profound knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Polish and English (negotiation level), German preferred.
