Description

We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied  internship in the area of Artificial Intelligence on the topic AI Governance and AI Ethics.

 As an AI Ethics intern at our company, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing best practices for the ethical use of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence technologies. You will work closely with our development and data science teams to ensure that our AI products and services align with ethical standards and safeguard against any potential harm to society or individuals.

 

What awaits you?

  • Understand the technical requirements for AI applications written in AI regulations and standards.
  • Translate these requirements into tools in the AI Platform and processes in the IT governance ecosystem of the BMW Group.
  • Collaborate with our data science and development teams to ensure ethical principles are incorporated into all AI projects
  • Document, explain, popularize the responsible AI requirements and their benefits.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to the company's AI strategy and vision.
  • Work in an international team.
     

What should you bring along?

  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge in AI ethics, responsible AI practices and societal impacts of technology.
  • Knowledge about the ML lifecycle.
  • Studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Management, or similar.
  • Ability to think critically and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Technical knowledge of machine learning and AI technologies is a plus.
  • Fluent Business English.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
