We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of battery cells. 

Our cross-disciplinary team of battery cell experts is working on evaluating next-generation-technology battery modules, cells and subcomponents for automotive use.

What awaits you?

• You will get a great insight into the current state of development of the lithium-ion battery cell technology and future innovations.
• Additionally, you will experience the working method of a pre-development team.
• You will support battery cell projects in the field of fast-charging and lifetime.
• The main working tasks for you will be setting up experiments, analyse data or develop new test methods.

What should you bring along? 

• University degree in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials sciences, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study.
• Experience with working in a laboratory and/or analysis of experimental data.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of battery cells.
• Analytical thinking and an independent way of working.
