Geometry Coordinator
As a Geometry Coordinator, you will be in charge of overall geometry status in the Body Shop until TMO with technical and organizational complex requirements. Required by the role is active participation and representation of quality specific interests in product- and technology-specific working teams (e. g. related to changes of the shift model). You will be responsible to fulfill the geometry targets like FMK and AWK of the body in white.
You will initiate and coordinate system optimizations in collaboration with the respective support functions, implement process adjustments due to concept changes and prepare technical documentation (sketches, schedule charts, flow charts, work instructions).
You will be the central contact person for all process partner (e. g. planning, Industrial Engineering, maintenance, technical change coordination, etc.) in case of cross-area topics.
Furthermore, part of the responsibility is: personnel planning incl. capacity planning, attendance planning, shift planning, recruiting, new associate introduction and training, qualification planning, personnel development planning, leading of overall assembly projects and -activities, cross-area tracking, root cause analysis of failures and initiation of counter measures.
You Should have
- Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive industry, in Body Shop production or related to quality, metrology, quality complete vehicle, etc.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving methodologies.
- Leadership experience (group-, team-, or project- lead).
- Fluent business English.
