We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of software development for computer vision. The main objective of this internship is to investigate and integrate the state-of-the-art compression techniques (pruning, quantization, etc) in our training infrastructure for computer vision based CNNs.
What awaits you?
- You will work as a software development intern in computer vision with relevant knowledge in machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow 2.
- You will develop applications of deep neural networks, with a particular focus on image classification, object detection and semantic segmentation.
- You will collaborate with diverse peer groups and participate in technical discussions on a daily-basis.
What should you bring along?
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational linguistics, psychology or a comparable qualification.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
- Very good programming skills in Python as well as experience with TensorFlow 2 and Git.
- Experience with Docker is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of deep-learning architectures with a focus on computer vision.
- Business-fluent English.
