We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of simulation.

Within our cluster we provide tooling allowing for closed-loop simulation and statistical validation of the BMW automated driving functions. In particular, our team is providing and integrating the necessary models for both sensors (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic) and driving dynamics in order to build up a closed-loop simulation including the BMW function stack.

What awaits you?

• Adjusting simulation models (sensors, vehicle model) according to the needs of function developers.
• Adaptions to the simulation framework, which serves as glue between environment simulation, models and the BMW function stack.
• Investigation and fixing of simulation related defects.

 
What should you bring along?

• Experience in C++ development incl. test-driven design approaches (gtest).
• Experience in MATLAB / Simulink modelling.
• Bonus: System knowledge regarding automated driving functions.
