We are offering a position as Section Manager Production – Assembly for our new plant in Debrecen.

What awaits you?

 -Leading, coaching and developing a team in your production area.

 -Driving the overall performance, you will put your solving problem skills into practice and push for continuous improvement.

 -Self-responsible tracking of relevant Key Performance Indicators (product quality, units per shift and costs).

 -Initiating suitable containment and corrective actions in case to get back on target level.

-Optimizing processes in the production, coordinating and supporting continuous improvement projects with the focus on your key performance indicators.

 -Ensuring that suitable processes are carried out to comply with legal and internal requirements to include safe working practices, accidents prevention, environmental protection, cleanliness, and ergonomics.

What you should bring along?

 - University degree in engineering.

 -5+ years of experience in Automotive Industry leading function or a similar role.

 -Theoretical and practical knowhow in vehicle development, body trim, paint, body shop or vehicle electrical systems/electronics, as well as powertrain.

 -Knowledge and use of LEAN, 6 sigma tools in the problem solving.

 -Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

 -Hungarian and English working proficiency is required. German proficiency would be an advantage.

 -Willingness to travel and perform majority of the BMW Group qualification program abroad during the first year of employment.
