Lean Process Specialist (f/m/x)

As a Lean Process Specialist (f/m/x) assembly, you will become part of a dynamic, highly motivated and agile team with the aim of setting up the assembly and integrate a new electic car in the new Debrecen plant where the launch of the Neue Klasse vehicle will happen.
What awaits you?
- Improving processes and application of lean methods within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Identifying actively and autonomously the process improvement potentials (cost, assembly time, quality, ergonomics, etc.) and initiating necessary actions with the partners in the lean management core team.
- Being responsible for implementation and development of the lean production system in the technology and Elaborating best practice solutions for the new plant.
- Supporting planning and production in the implementation of product changes in series production - Realization of value stream mappings and designs.
- Performing lean management trainings and workshops in the direct and indirect area.
- Elaborating potentials for preventive quality optimization. Initializing corrective actions in case of quality deviations.
- Developing poka-yoke solutions for relevant processes. - Autonomous tracking and of as relevant KPI`s in the respective area of responsibility (planned assembly time, headcount, budget, assembly time per unit, etc.)
What should you bring along?
- Qualifications in related field of manufacturing is valuable. Preferred but not mandatory the Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field of study.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or similar positions, specifically in production area of assembly.
- A high degree of flexibility, motivation, and a sense of responsibility.
- Hungarian and English working proficiency is required. German proficiency would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and perform majority of the BMW Group qualification program abroad during the first year of employment.
