Senior Goods Receiving Specialist (f/m/x)

As a Senior Goods Receiving Specialist (f/m/x) you are responsible for ensuring, monitoring and steering the actual logistics processes in regards of goods receiving activities. You will coordinate and optimize daily operations with all relevant process partners, and you will be responsible for communication with the service provider and stakeholders.

What awaits you?

• Independent processing of all incoming customs shipments and customs documents in accordance with current customs regulations and laws, including checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Implementation and monitoring of truck time slot control, as well as allocation of flexible time slots to freight forwarding companies.
• Clarify and record delivery differences (deviations between transport documents and physical delivery) with suppliers/freight forwarders. Independent processing of transport damage, including preparation of unloading reports.
• Independent clarification of invoice differences by comparing proof of delivery with determined receipt of goods.
• Coordination with internal and external partners (freight forwarders, customs, ASN quality) for complex goods receiving problems for sustainable problem resolution.

What should you bring along?

• University degree ideally with a focus on logistics or from other relevant field OR equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience within logistics, knowledge of incoming goods processes is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel within BMW network.
• English and Hungarian - business fluent both written and spoken. German language would be an advantage.
