Associate Relations Intern (Summer 2025)

Description
The Associate Relations Intern will gain a better understanding of the Associate Relations function within the organization (i.e. Associate engagement). The intern will develop/enhance project management skills, receive an introduction to the knowledge, skills and abilities required in a Human Resources role, and gain real life experience and exposure into the BMW culture and the manufacturing industry.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Support Associate Relations processes (Associate morale and engagement sensing, performance management process, guidelines and policies).
- Support Associate appeal and termination process.
- Support multiple HR projects.
- Create Associate Relations dashboards.
- Process improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Effective communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
