Project Management & Launch Steering Co-Op (Summer 2025)

Description:
Student intern, under guidance from Launch Steering mentor, will manage the day-to-day planning of activities of NSG cars to ensure accurate on-time adherence to Plant Spartanburg targets. At the end of each rotation the student intern should be able to:
- Manage the Throughput Schedule for both H50 and H52.
- Manage the Current Schedule.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings/workshops.
- Develop inter-departmental networking skills.
- Develop project management/organization skills.
The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Create Assembly Drop requests for both H50 and H52.
- Manage the Transport Ordering process for Airfreight delivery of NSG cars.
- Manage and create Synchro Files and Option Matrices.
- Run Verification program weekly to ensure data accuracy of NSG builds.
- Create Status 5000 requests in a timely manner.
- Manage and facilitate Throughput and internal TAS meetings. Other meetings as assigned.
- Optimize DAVE/Throughput/Current Schedule planning.
- Facilitate Launch Workshops for upcoming SOP’s.
- Optimize ATG/RWK activities to optimize resource allocation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, Logistics/Operations Management, Business, International Business, IT.
- MS Excel/Office Suite, quick learner for new computer skills.
- Planning and Organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Preferred previous Programming Experience (VBA, Matlab, R, Python, SQL etc.).
- Must commit to three co-op rotations as an enrolled student.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
